Chalet "Im Wieselti" Langwies
For The Resorts of Arosa.
Situated half an hour from Chur by road and rail and 15 mins from Arosa we are proud to include as partners a great new Chalet for Snowmotions guests.
For international visitors we recommend you fly into Zurich or Friedrichshafen and either take the train or allow us to transfer you in our 4WD vehicles to the Chalet door. Allowing a journey time of 2 hours by car or 3 hours by train.
The Chalet is on a South facing hillside opposite the famous Langwies railway viaduct with panoramic Alpine views. A 10 minute walk (or 2 minute ski/snowboard descent) brings you to the Langwies railway station and a short train journey to the resort of Arosa.
In winter the ride between Langwies and Arosa is free of charge with a valid Arosa ski lift pass.
The large modern Chalet is divided in to two separate apartments or can be rented as one whole Chalet.
The Chalet is centrally heated and has a log fire with wood provided for cosy winter evenings.
The top apartment with a large balcony sleeps 4 and the lower apartment sleeps 6 or together 10 adults comfortably. Both apartments are fully fitted for self catering purposes and have a washing machine, TV, DVD, MP3/CD player. Bed linen, towels and duvets are provided as well as an iron and ironing board. Ample parking space is available and there is plenty of storage space for skis/ snowboards and boots.

The Schanfigg Valley provides a stunning environment to experience the summer activities: hiking, mountain biking, river rafting, paragliding, golf, sight seeing & enjoying the local Alpine lakes and nature in nearby Arosa, Lenzerheide and Flims.
In winter the variety of skiing and snowboarding possibilities is outstanding in Arosa with options for families, beginners, intermediates and for experienced “free riders”.
Another local resort option is the less known smaller gem of a resort St. Peter-Hochwang that lies on the same side of the valley as the Chalet a short car or train journey away.

Langwies itself is a charming rural Swiss village a scenic short walk through the Pine forest away from the Chalet. Fresh bread and dairy produce and all provisions can be bought at the local shop. There are a couple of local restaurants, bars and a kids/learners ski lift in winter.
